Community Sensitizations and partnerships

Community sensitizations are key in helping transform and change mindsets of locals when having a project in any area. We do community sensitizations on various topics affecting the targeted communities in partnership with several partners. We work with the local administration, local police, schools and village elders in the sensitization sessions. We have had several in partnership with various partners including;
 Human Rights Agenda (HURIA). We had joint community sensitization forum in Bomani, Kikambala about the rights of suspects, rights of education of girls, and teen pregnancy.
 Kijipwa Police Station. Joint community sensitization forum in Bomani, Kikambala about the rights of suspects, procedures for arrests and witchcraft cases.
 Critical Mass Mombasa and Mombasa Based riders. We had joint rides around Mombasa town to create awareness on cycling. They also brought donations to our Bomani Day Care centre in Kikambala.
 Suleiman Shahbal Foundation. The foundation sponsored a 10 km ride around Mombasa town dubbed “‘Lets Ride, Mombasa. Transforming Mombasa Into A Cycling City’” to create awareness on cycling and its advantages. The aim is to make Mombasa an eco-friendly cycling city.
 Africa Green Revolution. Teaching the teen mums in our teenage mothers’ reintegration program about, traditional ecological knowledge on biodiversity restoration, conservation restoration.
 Junju Chiefs Office. The office of the chief has linked us to various secondary schools for us to conduct our life-skills and mentorship programs.
 Doing Good. We have done beach clean-up activities with them along the Coastal beaches.
